Eva Constantaras is a data and investigative journalist with Internews specialized in growing data journalism in developing countries. Her projects have helped kick start data journalism across Latin America, Asia and East Africa on topics ranging from displacement and kidnapping to extractive industries and elections.
As a Google Data Journalism Scholar in Spain and a Fulbright Fellow in Colombia and UNESCO in Paris, she developed training curricula for investigative and data journalism in high-risk environments with limited data access.
Her reporting has appeared in media outlets including El Mundo, El Confidencial , the Seattle Times and El Tiempo and she blogs for a variety of organizations. She is currently based in Istanbul, Turkey.
